Spotlight on the Artist
Aoife McLaughlin is a West Cork artist and printmaker. She is passionate about lino printing, a form of fine art printmaking where an image is carved into the surface of a linoleum block. Ink is then rolled across the surface of the carved black and pressed onto paper.
These three prints were created to convey that pull between the reason of head and the desire of heart when standing at the edge of a big decision. Whether or not to take that step forwards into the unknown.
Sold as a trio series. Offered as unframed or framed in a navy blue frame. Each print is 8x10.
